Meet our Director & Owner

Sam

As the artistic director of ConfiDanse, Sam brings over 20 years of experience in the dance industry. Her immense passion for heels style dance started as an adult. She has choreographed multiple shows as well as personally performed in 12+ shows and charity events. Her passion for dance is infectious and she is dedicated to helping ConfiDanse achieve its goals; To allow all body and genders to perform in a supportive space.

Classes Offered

Beginner - Mondays 6 - 8PM

Beginner class is meant for beginner dancers who have never been on the stage. In this class we teach you heels basics, balance and choreography that will challenge you and help you learn. 

Beginner+ - Tuesdays 7 - 9PM

Beginner+ class is meant for those who have done a few heels performance shows and need a bit more of a challenge. This is a perfect level for those who have the goal of moving up.

Open Level - Tuesdays 7 - 9PM

Open level is only available in High River, Alberta. This class is open to all levels of dance with our choreographers catering to the skill in the specific class. If you're new, we will teach you basics and if you're inter/advanced we will challenge you in creative ways. 

Advanced - Mondays 8 - 10PM

Advanced class is our most challenging class. Our choreographers really push execution and faster pace choreography and technique. This class has expectations of at home practice and extra dedication to the program. 

Contemporary

ConfiDanse contemporary division is an audition based performance group with one performance per year. Rehearsal times will vary based off of those who are chosen for specific dances. This division is mainly inter/advanced with a focus on advanced training. Beginners will be welcome based off of interest.
